Arazzi di Parole

Paesaggi di Parole is a creative workshop and a publishing house. It produces maps that explore cultural themes using words alone. From these maps emerge and take shape unexpected relationships, hidden connections, affinities, and links—unthinkable before the advent of computer graphics.

Wonder and amazement accompany those who encounter our work for the first time.

The maps of Literature, Grammar, Philosophy, Music, and interdisciplinary knowledge are created on cotton, PVC, and other materials. They are precious decorative elements, capable of stimulating the mind with every glance.

Do you remember the old geographical maps hanging in school classrooms? No one recalls actually consulting them, yet over time we memorized them almost by osmosis, without realizing it, and without being hindered by excessively small text.

It is the everyday presence of a message that defines its assimilation, much like what happens in advertising. The same occurs with our maps, where letters act as the pixels of our “images,” ready to ensnare the observer.

Hanging a painting is an intimate act—it is the expression of a part of ourselves. Paintings speak about us and for us. In the same way, our maps narrate, through a path made of words, the fascination of those who display them toward certain themes, revealing deep and sometimes hidden aspects. They evoke memories, youthful dreams, passions, and more.

We are the books we have read, we are the paintings we have hung.
